Judge EwingJudge Ewing is a lifetime resident of Galveston County. He grew up in La Marque and graduated with honors from La Marque High School.

He attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree. He graduated Cum Laude and was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society.

After receiving his degree from St. Mary’s University Judge Ewing attended South Texas College of Law in Houston and received recognition for being on the Dean’s Honor List.

In 1986, Judge Ewing began his legal career as a practicing trial attorney. During his 28 years as a practicing trial attorney, Judge Ewing tried hundreds of cases including criminal, civil, and family law cases.

He is active in his church and community. He served as a Youth Pastor and then Senior Pastor of Faith Community Church at Bayou Vista for 12 years. He has also been a member of several service organizations and is presently a member of the Kiwanis Club.

Judge Ewing has been married to his wife Melissa for thirty two years and they have one daughter, Shelby.
