• You will need to set up an account in OpenGov to access the permitting services.
• If you already have an OpenGov account you can use that account to access your Galveston County permits.
• Process your application faster.
• Provide you with online access to the status of your application.

• All floodplain development and Recreational Vehicle (R.V.) permits
• Review, approve, and schedule inspections from a single online platform.
• New subdivisions and replat applications
• Permits for work within a county right-of-way
• Sand pit permits on Bolivar Peninsula
• 408 Permitting
